Futurecraft: Seeing Collective Futures
Futurecraft: How to Work with Signals & Drivers of the Future
Stop reacting to the future and start shaping it. In a world where tomorrow changes faster than today, the art of “Futurecraft” allows you how to decode signals from the future to anticipate what’s coming next, and turn the chaos of uncertainty into your greatest advantage. This isn’t fortune telling—it’s the foundational toolkit every mission-driven leader needs to bring their vision to fruition.

Traction Thursday (SE Iowa)
Traction Thursday Guest Speaker: Corey Morrow, founder of Farsight Society
Corey Morrow started Farsight Society to fill a void of much needed support for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and NFP / community organizers. Instead of building our startups and community organizations based on hindsight, and isolation, we can build based on foresight and connection.
What is Traction Thursday?
Traction Thursdays is a peer and technical support group for all entrepreneurs in the Fairfield/Jefferson County area. Traction Thursdays is supported by a Small Business Administration Rural Development Grant through Newbo Co, a non-profit in Cedar Rapids which supports entrepreneurship, education, and innovation. Alex Taylor, Director of the Iowa Startup Accelerator, provides free technical assistance through the SBA grant. Kelly Prickett, Regional Director of the Indian Hills Small Business Development Center also provides support for Traction Thursdays entrepreneurs.
We meet every week from 12-1 at the Fairfield CoLab, 101 N Court, Fairfield, Iowa. You can also join us via Zoom at: https://zoom.us/my/bobferguson
All entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs are welcome to attend. Each meeting features a guest entrepreneur who shares their vision, plans, experience, and needs with the group.
